Who are we?
My name is Matthew Thomas Morgan and I am the founder of SingScreen.
As a successful musician with years of experience, I know how difficult the past few months have been with the developing consequences of COVID 19.
Though there have been many inspiring opportunities to make virtual music, like all creative people, I have been trying to develop ways of us getting back to business 'in person'. This is our lifeblood; teaching, coaching, rehearsing & performing. All of this is happens to its fullest in the real and not the virtual world.
SingScreen is my solution to the current issues we face. I have been lucky enough to be blessed with two parents who have excellent design and manufacturing skills, which means that we have prototyped a number of solutions, coming up with something that works for both the end user, and those it seeks to protect. It is simple, sturdy and easy to use & clean.
SingScreen tackles the potential dangers of droplet transference between musicians (particularly singers and woodwind players) and offers a freestanding, physical barrier between two musicians working together. Its acrylic surface is clear, doesn't disrupt the transmission of sound, and is easily cleaned with soap and water or recommended acrylic cleaning products. Meanwhile its adjustable, tilting stand allows the screen to be customized to different students, whilst allowing them to see those they are working with.
Overall, this is a robust, well engineered solution; which we wholeheartedly believe will be an invaluable addition to any studio, rehearsal space or performance venue. It is suitable for all musicians but particularly designed around the perceived increased risks of virus transmission from vocalists, woodwind & brass players. We look forward to discussing your requirements and fulfilling your orders. Please don't hesitate to be in contact.
